About Dr. Jonathan Koning

Dr. Jonathan Koning is board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology to deliver the most up-to-date, cutting-edge treatments for a myriad of chronic pain issues. At ReGen Pain Management, with locations in Frisco and Plano, Dr. Koning provides innovative treatments including platelet rich plasma injections to treat a variety issues including back pain, joint pain, headaches, complex regional pain syndrome, neuropathy, and sciatica.

Prior to completing his pain management fellowship in Ohio at the University of Toledo, he earned his medical degree from the esteemed Loma Linda University School of Medicine, in Loma Linda, CA, and a degree in Anesthesiology from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE.

Keeping in line with the mission of his alma mater, Dr. Koning is committed to providing a comprehensive and holistic approach in caring for those with chronic pain, and tailoring treatment options to fit each patient’s unique individual need. Understanding that pain can affect every aspect of a patient’s life, he utilizes a multi-dimensional treatment approach that can include physical therapy, psychotherapy, medications, and injections. His treatment plans are evidence-based and specially designed to promote the quickest, safest, and most complete recovery for his patients.

Dr. Koning lives in Frisco, Texas with his wife and three children. He is very excited to be serving the North Dallas area.
